I was born and raised in Houston,Tx. Like many other local anglers I started fishing at a very young age. The nostalgic feeling overwhelms me every time I pass by a freshwater pond or lake. It takes me back to the days of bass fishing with my father. Listening to oldies in his classic F-150 on our way to the local bass ponds and lakes of the greater Houston area. That is how it all started.

At the age of 34 my passion for the water is greater than ever. Spending 6 years in the U.S. Navy I have come accustomed to it. My military duties have granted me the opportunity to traverse the globe. Whether catching hammerhead sharks in Hawaii or east coast redfishing in Virginia I will always search out a spot to wet a line.

My military duties are behind me and I have returned back home to Texas. However my addiction to fishing continues on. Kayak fishing is the latest edition to my story. My focus now revolves around fishing, bays, bayous, marshes and flats in and around the upper Texas coast. This increasingly growing sport has peaked my interests and will keep me on the water for years to come.
